I've been there (still am, to a degree)...for me, if I don't do at least a *little* writing, I begin to feel kind of dead inside.

We all do what we have to in order to survive...however, we All need some things that just belong to us, as well. I wrote part of my last story out on bits of scrap paper on breaks during work. Since I am, admittedly, fairly clueless as to what effort goes into visual art, I don't know how that would work for you.

I *Do* that not doing *anything* that speaks to your soul can male a soul feel pretty numb after awhile.

I don't know what your situation is, but I hope it will get better. I'll be keeping good thoughts for you out here.
